Jim Barr

13u Assistant Coach

 

 

Jim Barr comes to the Playmakers Coaching Staff with many years of coaching experience at many levels of baseball.  

At the high school level, Jim coached at Upper Darby High School in Drexel Hill, Pa where he has been a Social Studies Teacher for 15 years.  With the Upper Darby Baseball Program, Jim was the Head Freshman Coach for two years, the Head J.V. Coach for two years, Lead Assistant for the Varsity for one year, and Head Varsity Coach for two Years.

Jim served on Coach Scott Kelley's Staff with the MapleZone Muckdawgs, and was Head Coach of 3 other MapleZone teams. 

Jim also was an Assistant Coach for the Chester County Crawdads Elite Travel Baseball Program that sent 14 of 16 players on to play college baseball.
